Ric Forman founded Forman Vineyard in 1983 to fulfill a dream of producing, as a sole proprietor, small quantities of classically made Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. With a remarkable site, it has produced some unusually elegant wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, and his non-malolactic Chardonnay has become part of the lexicon of wine styles and is known as the “Forman style.”
Founded in less than two decades, Realm Cellars has already established as one of the most sought after estates in the world. Producing wines of excellent quality in small amounts, The young winery has quickly become a phenomenon in Napa Valley with several 100-point ratings. Robert Parker called Realm wines “outrageously delicious” and Antonio Galloni said “this is a gorgeous set of wines that deserve considerable attention”.

| "The 2014 The Bard is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Merlot. This is their largest cuvée of 2,000 cases. | "The 2013 Tempest is Realm´s homage to Right Bank Bordeaux, as it is a blend of 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. Like Shakespeare´s famous play, this is meant to be an in-your-face, boisterous, expressive and flamboyant wine. Most of the grapes tend to come from great vineyards such as Dr. Crane and others. The wine is lush and ripe, with a stunning nose of coffee beans, chocolate, black cherries, and blackberries. It is deep, heady, and enormously appealing in its opulence and sexiness. "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon emerges from another first-growth vineyard that was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993, and planted with multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Cabernet Franc. The original vineyard was planted in 1868, but the present one consists of nearly 90 acres. The 2012 reveals incredible complexity and density with notes of Christmas fruitcake, baking spices, licorice, crème de cassis and forest floor. Full-bodied with the vintage’s opulence and drama, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was fashioned from Clones 4 and 337. It should age effortlessly for 25-30 years."

| "The single-vineyard 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard comes from a hillside, cool-climate site in the Coombsville AVA in the eastern Vaca Mountains. In the past, much of this fruit went into early vintages of Opus One. This is a tannic, opulent, backward, primary effort displaying an inky/purple color along with notes of incense, camphor, toast and abundant black fruits.
